Are CRASH courses for adults or kids?
Both!  On the "Class Calendar" page, the legend is color coded (kids' classes are yellow)

Why is there a material fee?
Class fees go to pay the teachers and our overhead.  We have not raised the prices since we opened over 3 years ago.  However, it does not cover class supply costs.  So the material fees allow us to provide each student with everything they need for the class.

Why don't you answer the phone?
Good question.  We are not a retail store and we don't keep retail hours.  We're teaching all weekends, some early mornings and often until 11pm.  So if we don't answer the phone, it's because we're teaching, not here or napping.  Email is a good way to contact us.

What if I need to cancel?
We buy materials for all students and we limit enrollment so we have a strict cancellation policy. Please read our refund policy on the "Class Calendar" page or the "Enroll On-line" page before you purchase a class.

Are you 2 businesses or 1?
Art Works Studios and Hands-on 3rd joined forces in March 2012.  Together we hope to bring you more opportunities for creating and more fun.

Is there parking?
Sorry, LA style parking only: on the street.

Do you offer classes other than CRASH courses?
Yes!  We have series for more intensive or advanced studies (e.g., Sewing A to Z meets 4 classes).  And on-going classes (e.g., Tween Knit, Comic & Anime, Drawing & Painting) which meet weekly.
